In short: Zapwell is a media player only. It shows only the playlists you add yourself. We do not collect, store on our servers, sell or share your personal data. There are no ads, no analytics and no user accounts.

Who we are

Zapwell is made by Webotion Dijital Çözümler (Webotion Digital Solutions), a sole proprietorship of Recep Yazgan, Istanbul, Türkiye. Contact: support@webotion.net.

What the app does

Zapwell plays media from M3U/M3U8 playlists or Xtream accounts that you add. The app does not include, provide, sell or recommend any channels, playlists or content. Everything you watch comes from sources you choose.

Data stored on your device

The following stays only on your device, in the app's private storage:

Playlist addresses, Xtream server addresses, user names and passwords you enter.
The channel and catalog lists read from those playlists, favorites, recently watched channels and watch progress.
Settings such as buffer mode and language.
Short audio fingerprints of series episodes you watch, used only to find the intro and credits so the app can offer "Skip intro" and "Next episode". These are numeric summaries, not recordings, and never leave your device.

We have no access to this data. Android cloud backup is turned off for the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of it.

Network connections

Your playlist provider. The app connects directly to the servers in the playlists and accounts you add, to load lists, guides, logos and streams. Those servers see your IP address and the requests, as with any media app. Their privacy practices are their own.
IMDb ratings. To show IMDb ratings for movies and series, the app downloads the public ratings file from datasets.imdbws.com. No personal data is sent.
Wikidata. To match a title to its IMDb rating, the app may send the title's TMDB number (taken from your provider's catalog) to query.wikidata.org. No account, device identifier or personal data is sent.

Zapwell itself does not run any server that receives your data.

Permissions

Zapwell asks only for internet access and network state. It does not use location, contacts, camera, microphone or files beyond a playlist file you pick yourself.

Children

Zapwell is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly process their data.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You control all app data on your device. Under the GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK you may still contact us with any question at support@webotion.net.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
